I created two illustrations for the first edition of the Skin Mutts magazine. I used oil pastels for both of the pieces, and they were featured over three spreads of the magazine.
Skin Mutts is a platform which was initiated in Brussels for people that grew up with different cultures and ethnicities. Their goal is to create a unity amongst people that often felt like 'outsiders' before, and show them that they are not alone and there are a lot of people with similar experiences, though it may not always feel that way. I was really happy to have worked on this project, as I grew up in Malaysia and often feel like I don't have a lot of people who relate to my experiences.
